DESCRIPTION:

A 2 Days Ngutuni Safari is an overnight wildlife safari tour at the Ngutuni Private Sanctuary. The safari game drives are spread out over 2 days to try and maximize game viewing opportunities and possibly spot any animals that may have been missed the day before. This tour is ideal for families or couples looking for a short safari holiday.

2 DAYS NGUTUNI SAFARI ITINERARY:

​

DAY 1:

 

We begin the 2 days Ngutuni safari with an early pick up from your hotel at about 06:00hrs in the morning, the journey takes you along the main Mombasa-Nairobi highway where traditional coastal culture slowly and noticeably begins to transform into semi-arid terrain the closer we approach Ngutuni Sanctuary.

 

Arriving at the Ngutuni Sanctuary main gate, you will begin the safari game drive looking for animals as we slowly and surely drive towards the direction of your accommodation looking for any resident wildlife that migrate between Ngutuni and Tsavo East.

 

Ngutuni is a 10,000 acre private game sanctuary surrounded on three sides by Tsavo East National Park. The wildlife migrate freely between the two parks and Ngutuni is known for its dust covered red elephant herds, lions, giraffe and a variety of other wild animals. The Ngutuni Safari Lodge waterhole is also known to attract large herds of animals both day and night. On arrival at Ngutuni Safari Lodge, you will be assisted with check in and enjoy lunch followed by some relaxation. 

 

In the afternoon at about 16:00 hrs, continue the Ngutuni safari with another series of game viewing in search of more animals, birds and any wildlife we may spot. We then return to Ngutuni safari lodge before sunset for dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 2:

 

The following morning at about 06:30hrs, enjoy some coffee/tea at the lodge before you leave for an early morning game drive in search of animals and big cats that may have come out into the open during the night. After the game drive you will then return to Ngutuni safari lodge for a full breakfast. 

Checking out from the lodge at about 10:00hrs, we begin the return journey with a short game drive as we exit ngutuni sanctuary to connect to the Mombasa-Nairobi highway to drop you at your beach hotel, which completes the 2 days ngutuni safari.

OUR ADVICE:

In Ngutuni Sanctuary the day time temperatures can get very warm while evenings can get quite cool, do remember to carry appropriate clothing.
